Preparation
What the test detects:
- Pathogenic and likely pathogenic variants (mutations) that increase cancer risk
- Variants of uncertain significance (VUS)
- Inheritance pattern information (most are autosomal dominant)
Recommended for:
- Patients with a significant family history of cancer
- Patients diagnosed with cancer at an early age
- Personalized screening and preventive care planning
- Family members of a patient with a confirmed pathogenic variant (cascade testing is recommended when a proband tests positive)
Method: Target enrichment via hybridization with oligonucleotide probes; massively parallel sequencing on MiSeqDx (150 bp paired-end reads); reference genome GRCh37/hg19; mean coverage depth 300x.
Limitations: The test analyzes coding exons and adjacent intronic regions; it cannot reliably detect exon-level deletions/duplications, large structural rearrangements, repeat expansions, or imprinting defects.
Deliverable: A written report with clinical interpretation of detected variants and management recommendations.

Can I cancel or change my booking?
Before payment – free of charge, in your account. After payment – under the purchase terms: No visit scheduled yet: you can cancel at any time before the voucher expires and get a full refund. Visit scheduled: cancel at least 24 hours before the visit for a full refund. Less than 24 hours before, a refund is at Zdaro's discretion, taking into account the Partner's costs and the reason (for example, illness). Packages and courses: once the first session has been used, the remaining sessions are not refundable, unless the Partner cannot provide them or the Partner confirms to us that the course should stop for medical reasons. In that case, unused sessions are refunded in full. Refunds go to the original payment method and are initiated within 5 business days of confirmation.
How will I get my results?
The provider gives the results directly to you; Zdaro does not receive or see them. You will be told at the visit how and when they are sent.

Can I book for several people at once?
Yes, you can choose several people in one booking, including children when the service is for their age. Each person gets their own voucher.
